Come for the Ride!

The third annual Startup Riot will be held on February 17, 2010 at the Atlanta Fox Theatre! A number of things about this year’s competition have been upgraded including the venue, the demo pit, the after party and the cash prizes!

If you are a start-up in the Southeast seeking funding, co-founders, recognition or just want to launch your new service, you should apply to present at this event. The hardest part of the application is selling your vision with 4 slides and a 3 minute video – but if you can’t do that, the idea is probably too complicated anyway.

This year the keynote speaker will be Bo Peabody, co-founder of Village Ventures and previous co-founder of Tripod.com. Bo also wrote a book, Lucky Or Smart?: Fifty Pages for the First-Time Entrepreneur, that details his experiences as an entrepreneur.

Robert Scoble will also be attending Startup Riot to provide some coverage of the event.
