How Much is Your Domain Worth?

If you’re in the business to buy domains, create content and then sell off the small business, I found a pretty cool site you can use to gauge the value of your domain. wwwDNScoop.com is a service that tries to evaluate the worth of a domain algorithmically by combining a number of factors that are commonly important for site flippers.
By pulling in data such as domain age, page rank, inbound links, Alexa scores and a few other factors, it shows you what you could potentially sell the site for if all you care about is the domain as your primary asset.
Of course, like all computer programs, the algorithm doesn’t work for sites that are huge brands and it doesn’t really work for sites with no traffic.
A quick evaluation of Google.com produced $1,760,000,000. Good but not quite there…

An evaluation of our domain produced the result of $60 which is kinda sad if you ask me.

If you’re interested in checking out the value of your domain for sh*ts and giggles, check out the site.
